To become a Delaware Notary Public, you must be able to answer “YES” to the follow statements below. 

A Delaware Notary must: 

 
        Be eighteen (18) years of age or older
        Be of good character and reputation?
        Show reasonable need for a notary commission?
        Be a Resident of the State of Delaware?  -OR-
        Reside Outside the State of Delaware, but maintain an  office or regular place of employment in Delaware?
